You have two options, use BBC settings to get a flat image, that can be brought to life in post production wit grading and color correction, or use another custom settings, that would not require as much grading.

one thing is for sure,most reviews agree that the out of the box settings are pretty rubbish, but not to worry, it can be changed easily.

Menu -> Camera setup -> Custom Pictures

Option 1 - BBC Settings, flat image for post-production felxibility

Custom Picture - Gamma: Cine 1
Custom Picture - Sharpness - Level: -10
Custom Picture - Sharpness - H Detail Freq.: 8
Custom Picture - Sharpness - Coring - Level: 12
Custom Picture - Sharpness - HV Detail Bal.: 5
Custom Picture - Color Matrix - Select: Cine 1
Custom Picture - Color Matrix - R-G: -8


shutter speed at 50fps

Option 2 - More ready to go, finished video Look

Custom Picture  - Gamma: Cine 1
Custom Picture - Black - Master Pedestral: -5
Custom Picture - Color Matrix - Select: Cine 1
Custom Picture - Gain: 15
Custom Picture - Color Matrix - R-G: -8
Custom Picture - White Balance - G Gain: -5
Custom Picture - White Balance - B Gain: -5
 

All other settings are left at their default.

You can also save these on a  SD card to switch between them, or to set up multiple cameras with same picture profile.
